I've put up a blog article with links etc on how to watch sessions at AGU16.

A reminder to everyone who isn't in San Francisco at AGU16, that it's best to be prepared in advance. (Fine words coming from me, when I can barely find time at the moment to write a simple blog article.)

I think that last year's registration details probably work this year too. If so, you've probably already received an email from AGU with all the links. If not, you can register and logon to AGU On-Demand here. (Let me know if that link doesn't work for you.)

You can browse and search the scientific program ahead of time. The search button is on the top right, easy to miss.

Anyone else going to the protest on Tuesday?

Trent, I've heard whispers about the rally or protest or whatever, but no details. Is there a website? Is there a reason for keeping it under wraps? That wouldn't make sense - but maybe it's just me who's in the dark.

Okay - I found it - at least I didn't, but someone found it for me. Only for people on Facebook, which would cut out a lot of people. I don't know if there's a website.

There are people I know going to it, but I don't know how many or if the rally will make any waves. It probably needs a bit more publicity to have an impact. If anyone knows of a website I'll link to it to the blog, and tweet it.

Thanks, Trent. I'll probably write about it. It's important that people know that scientists aren't cowed by intimidation from the GOP and Trump.

I'm not sure if I'll get time before the event, but then I think everyone at AGU will know about it already. I'm going to see if I can scrounge some photos of it, giving credit of course. (Hint!)

Press Conference sessions are available on Youtube.  Search 'FM16 Press Conference'.  Mon-Thu are there so far.  I have been listening (but not much watching) to them and they are very interesting. A good example is Explaining extreme events in 2015 from a climate perspective.
